Windows Administrator (NV1 Cleared)

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to join its Australian team on a full‑time basis. The role focuses on managing, maintaining and troubleshooting Windows‑based infrastructure while ensuring security and supporting ongoing projects.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Windows servers, desktops and related network devices.
• Install, configure and maintain Windows‑based software and services.
• Provide day‑to‑day support for user queries and advise customers.
• Perform diagnostics, daily server and application health checks, and manage outages or performance degradation.
• Implement security measures to protect data and software.
• Manage change‑request deployments across multiple environments.
• Assist stakeholders with financial requirements related to IT services.
• Support upgrade projects, including cloud migrations and OS upgrades.
• Manage application vulnerabilities for Windows‑based applications such as CMS, VIM and SEN.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship.
• NV1 or higher security clearance.
• Proven experience as a Windows Administrator.

Required skills

• Windows Server administration.
• Windows desktop administration.
• Network device management.
• Application vulnerability management for Windows‑based apps (CMS, VIM, SEN).
• Security implementation for Windows environments.
