Waste Management Driver (Operator) - Newman

About the role

Veolia Environmental Services is recruiting a residential Newman-based driver (operator) for its waste management operations. Due to expanding contracts and more work for medium to major mining clients, the team needs experienced Skip, Hook, Front Lift, Septic and Potable Water operators. You will receive comprehensive training and work alongside a supportive, friendly team.

Key responsibilities

• Collect waste under long-term contracts, with a minimum HR licence required
• Transport waste streams to disposal locations
• Communicate professionally with onsite clients
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment

Required profile

• HC or MC licence required
• Waste experience
• Good geographical knowledge of the Newman area
• Safety-conscious mindset
• Willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and a medical check relevant to the role

Required skills

• Ability to learn to operate a range of fleet and equipment
• Rio Tinto, BHP and Roy Hill inductions are highly advantageous
