Warehouse Manager

About the role

Charlie Bears is seeking a bright, organised and proactive Warehouse Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations of its Australian warehouse. The role combines strong leadership with a passion for systems, structure and continuous improvement, ensuring high‑quality service delivery and supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse activities, maintaining accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Plan, schedule, train and manage the warehouse team, driving performance and engagement.
• Optimise workflow, workload allocation and overall facility productivity.
• Process incoming product efficiently according to company procedures.
• Coordinate with customer service, inventory control and logistics partners for smooth operations.
• Develop, monitor and improve KPIs such as accuracy, pick rate, order fulfilment and productivity.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including layout redesign, storage methods and process flow.
• Promote a “Right First‑Time” culture across all operations.
• Ensure the warehouse site remains clean, safe, compliant, secure and fit for purpose, managing repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, audits and investigations.
• Monitor product quality standards, ensuring proper presentation and packaging.
