Warehouse Financial Controller – Victoria

About the role

The Site (Warehouse) Financial Controller is responsible for financial reporting and performance management across four Maersk sites in Victoria. You will produce weekly and monthly P&L reports, improve financial processes and controls, and act as the bridge between operations and finance to ensure accurate profitability metrics. The role requires onsite presence three days a week.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the delivery organisation in managing operational risks and establishing guardrails to prevent revenue leakages.
• Monitor and drive actions to ensure the P&L reflects accurate gross profit at country, entity, product and customer levels.
• Review profitability controls, identify root causes of inefficiencies and implement mitigation plans with business functions.
• Validate revenue billed and accrued versus estimates, investigating any anomalies.
• Assess the effectiveness of new platforms or process roll‑outs, conduct on‑site reviews and provide improvement recommendations.
• Support customer implementation compliance with corporate governance, policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate qualification in Accounting or a professional qualification such as CA/CPA.
• 2‑5 years of experience in a finance analyst or similar role.
• Experience in the logistics/warehousing sector is advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management, attention to detail and ability to connect operations with finance.
• Willingness to undergo reference checks and pre‑employment screening.
