Warehouse Coordinator

About the role

A recruiter representing a client, a leader in mining and processing equipment, is hiring a permanent, full-time Warehouse Coordinator for its team of 12 colleagues in Forrestfield. The role suits someone who enjoys a close-knit team and has a genuine passion for the warehouse and distribution industry. It is described as an autonomous role in modern facilities, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure receivals, stocktakes, logistics and overall processes are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Unload containers with a forklift (up to 5 tonnes)
• Receive and label stock
• Generate purchase orders and dispatch stock to various clients
• Communicate regularly with clients, internal staff and other parties to keep data and stock flow smooth
• Use client portals, Microsoft Word and Excel

Required profile

• Professional and clear communication style
• Intermediate experience with MS products
• Forklift licence and experience up to 5T (essential)
• Confidence and strong understanding of warehouse operations
• Ability to work autonomously
• Full Australian driver's licence and Australian working rights (holiday visas not accepted)
• Passable pre-employment medical and DAS
