Waitstaff – Waterfront Restaurant (Full‑time & Casual)

About the role

We are expanding our waterfront restaurant and need experienced waitstaff and drink/food runners. Two positions are available with full‑time and casual options, supporting a busy 300‑seat venue overlooking Lake Macquarie.

Key responsibilities

• Serve guests across multiple sittings per day, ensuring high‑quality service.
• Carry up to three plates and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Operate the computerised POS system for order entry and payment processing.
• Maintain a clean, well‑presented dining area and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Relevant hospitality qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to manage a busy section in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a strong customer‑service mindset.
• Fluent English, well‑groomed appearance, and RSA certification.
• Availability to work days, evenings and weekends (restaurant closed Mon‑Tue).
