Wait Staff – Part Time & Casual Positions

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic wait staff to join our five popular venues in Canberra. The role is part‑time or casual and involves delivering friendly, attentive service to guests from the moment they are seated until they leave.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus and take orders accurately.
• Make beverage and food recommendations and respond to table needs promptly.
• Serve food and drinks, ensure timely delivery and quality presentation.
• Maintain a clean and well‑presented dining area.
• Handle payments and process transactions using the venue’s POS system.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service flow.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar environment.
• Warm, professional demeanor and well‑presented appearance.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work as part of a team.
• Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Legal right to work in Australia.

Required skills

• RSA certification.
