Wait Staff – Opening Team at Waterfront Restaurant

About the role

Join the opening team at Riva, SRG Hospitality’s newest waterfront venue in Rose Bay. As a member of the first service crew, you’ll help shape the guest experience, set the service rhythm, and establish the standards for future staff.

Key responsibilities

• Run your own section confidently, reading tables and anticipating guest needs.
• Know the menu inside‑out – ingredients, preparation, and recommendations.
• Handle allergens and dietary requirements with absolute accuracy.
• Work the wine and cocktail list, offering suggestions that enhance the guest experience.
• Set up, reset, and close your section to standard each shift.
• Support teammates by stepping in early, sharing the load, and keeping service flowing.

Required profile

• Previous floor experience in high‑volume, quality‑driven venues (preferred).
• Genuine warmth with guests and composure in a full‑room environment.
• Current NSW RSA certification – essential.
• Solid food and beverage knowledge with a desire to grow.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Full working rights in Australia.
