VR General Practitioner - Private Billing Clinic

About the role

A boutique, privately billing practice in Black Rock, Victoria, is seeking a VR General Practitioner to join its warm, community-focused team. It describes itself as a small, relationship-driven clinic that emphasises quality over quantity, with longer, holistic appointments and a focus on continuity and meaningful patient relationships. The position is permanent and ideally involves three days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general practice care in a low-pressure clinical environment, with standard consult lengths of 20 to 40 minutes.
• Deliver care across mental health, women's health, children's health and complex presentations, which form a significant part of daily work.
• Work alongside an experienced principal GP and a collaborative team that values clinical autonomy.

Required profile

• FRACGP or equivalent with unrestricted AHPRA registration.
• Experience with private or mixed billing preferred.
• Comfortable with slower-paced, comprehensive consultations.
• Interest or experience in women's health, children's health and/or mental health is highly valued.
• The clinic is female-led; a female GP is highly regarded because the current female GP is leaving with full patient books.
