Veterinary Nurse – Part‑time (Wyoming & Wyong)

About the role

Join Greencross Wyoming as a part‑time Veterinary Nurse, working across both the Wyoming and Wyong clinics. This flexible role offers a minimum of 9.5 hours per week with the potential to increase to 38 hours based on availability and clinic needs.

Key responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, treatments and surgeries.
• Prepare patients for surgery, monitor anaesthesia and support recovery.
• Administer medications, collect blood and pathology samples, and perform diagnostic testing.
• Provide hospital and inpatient nursing care, educate clients and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support reception duties and uphold high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary nursing experience.
• Strong anaesthetic monitoring and animal handling abilities.
• Reliable transport, current driver’s licence and flexibility to work across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills.
