Verification and Validation Engineer I

About the role

Enovis is seeking a detail‑oriented Verification and Validation Engineer to support software and system testing for medical device products. The role works within the Enabling Technologies team to ensure that product requirements, designs and user needs are rigorously verified and validated in line with medical‑device quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, execute and maintain verification and validation test plans, protocols and reports for software and system‑level requirements.
• Review product requirements, software specifications and design documentation to create comprehensive test cases and validation strategies.
• Perform hands‑on software verification and validation testing for new product development and enhancements.
• Document test results, identify defects and collaborate with development teams to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Participate in quality audits and review software documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• Understanding of medical‑device quality and regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Software verification and validation testing.

• Familiarity with medical‑device regulations (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820).
