Venue Support Officer - Sunnybank Hotel

About the role

Endeavour Group is hiring a Venue Support Officer for its Sunnybank Hotel in Queensland. The role combines venue administration and financial reporting with marketing and social media support, and suits someone who enjoys helping the venue team and keeping things running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Complete all required financial reconciliations, including maintaining point of sale registers
• Maintain data integrity in ALH systems, as well as employee and training records
• Manage stock control and stocktakes, and identify and highlight cash and stock variances
• Ensure VISA obligations are met and managed for team members in the ALH systems
• Review venue-generated reports and give feedback to key team members
• Help the management team achieve expected audit results, compliance and loss prevention outcomes
• Provide general social media duties, website management, Canva-style graphic design, photography and content work

Required profile

• Outstanding customer service, handling enquiries by phone, email and in person
• Social media and marketing experience or interest
• Understanding of the importance of privacy and confidentiality with sensitive information
• A well-organised and professional approach to the administration area
• Support for the venue team on the floor during peak trading times
• Attends team meetings and contributes insights
