Venue Manager (Publican) - Pacific Pines Tavern

About the role

Endeavour Group is looking for a real Venue Manager for Pacific Pines Tavern, described internally as a Publican. The role is hands-on hospitality leadership: knowing the locals by name, keeping the pub safe, smooth and compliant, and leading a high-performing team. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Run the pub like your own home, keeping it safe, smooth and compliant
• Keep a close eye on the P&L
• Be the pillar of the local community and lead a high-performing team
• Handle fires before anyone notices them, and deliver the service and atmosphere every shift
• Perform manual handling and lifting regularly, such as moving stock, kegs and deliveries

Required profile

• Experience, presence and pride in owning a pub
• Current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
• Able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently
