Venue Manager

About the role

Yo‑Chi is launching its first venue in Hobart and is looking for a passionate Venue Manager to shape the guest experience and culture. This hands‑on leadership role combines team development, operational oversight, and community engagement in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead from the front, delivering outstanding guest experiences and setting performance standards each shift.
• Coach, train and support team members to grow and perform at their best.
• Drive sales growth while managing labour costs and cost of goods to meet commercial targets.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations including rostering, stock ordering, cash handling, venue administration and compliance.
• Recruit, onboard, retain and inspire a team that embodies the Yo‑Chi brand.
• Maintain high standards of product quality, food safety, cleanliness and presentation.
• Take ownership of venue performance, team engagement, training completion and operational execution.
• Support local marketing initiatives and build community relationships in Hobart.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in hospitality, retail or quick‑service restaurant environments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, people‑focused setting.
