Valuations & Pricing Analyst

About the role

As a Valuations & Pricing Analyst at Carma, you will sit at the heart of the buying team, using data and market insights to price pre‑owned vehicles accurately and competitively. You will combine machine‑learning inputs, inspection reports and your own research to support smart purchasing decisions and great customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Review and fine‑tune pricing recommendations using machine‑learning inputs, inspection reports and independent research.
• Analyse online listings, auction data and internal tools to make data‑backed valuation decisions.
• Support trade‑in pricing and collaborate with customer‑experience teams to ensure fair offers.
• Track stock performance and pricing trends with Business Insights and Data teams, using Excel and reporting tools.
• Ensure each valuation reflects the true condition and value of the vehicle.
• Improve internal processes and assist the broader buying team as needed.
• Participate in ad‑hoc projects in a fast‑moving environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in valuations, pricing or analytics, preferably in a data‑led setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a mindset for continuous improvement.
• Ability to work flexibly, organise tasks and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
• Passion for cars is a plus.
