US Tax Manager – Sydney

About the role

We are partnering with a leading international advisory firm to hire a US Tax Manager for its expanding Sydney team. You will work with high‑net‑worth individuals, entrepreneurs and globally mobile clients, delivering both compliance and advisory services across US‑Australia cross‑border tax matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of US‑connected individuals and businesses.
• Deliver high‑quality US tax compliance and support advisory projects.
• Provide guidance on expatriate tax, global mobility and foreign reporting.
• Develop long‑term client relationships and mentor junior staff.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• Strong experience in US tax, preferably in an international or expatriate environment.
• Professional qualifications such as EA, CPA or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and lead engagements.
• Commercial mindset with interest in expanding advisory capabilities.
