Underground Trainer

About the role

Aeris is seeking an Underground Trainer to join its Tritton Operation in Nyngan. You will coordinate inductions, deliver training programs and ensure all personnel are competent and compliant for safe underground work.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate on‑site inductions for employees, contractors and visitors, including underground tours.
• Maintain the entry‑level starter program and provide required documentation.
• Keep training records, reports and matrices up to date in the Learning Management System.
• Conduct training sessions, competency assessments and verification of competency.
• Develop and implement training packages aligned with legislative and business requirements.
• Partner with subject‑matter experts to design and deliver specialised training.
• Report on training activities within set timeframes.

Required profile

• Strong ability to build rapport with workers and provide extra support when needed.
• Effective team player with proven time‑management and deadline‑orientation.
• Excellent communication skills and adaptability to operational changes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS) for record‑keeping and reporting.
