About the role

AWX is recruiting experienced, trade-qualified Boilermakers for a client in Mount Isa, Queensland. The role suits Boilermakers with underground mining experience who want to help keep underground mining equipment and infrastructure safe and running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out underground maintenance, repairs and fabrication
  • Identify and report equipment defects and potential safety hazards
  • Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and underground mining standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance

Required profile

  • Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
  • Current Australian manual driver's licence
  • Previous experience in an underground mining environment
  • Experience working with heavy mining equipment and infrastructure
  • Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Ability to work effectively within a maintenance team
