UI/UX Designer

About the role

Deswik is looking for a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, high‑quality front‑end interfaces for its web‑based mining software. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to turn complex technical data into clear, user‑friendly designs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and develop web‑based user interfaces for Deswik products.
• Design page structures, screen layouts and navigation systems that promote ease of use.
• Create visual design elements such as colour schemes, typography, iconography and responsive layouts.
• Produce high‑fidelity mock‑ups, interactive prototypes and reusable UI components.
• Translate technical and functional requirements into structured web interfaces.
• Integrate and visualise data from multiple sources to support decision‑making.
• Maintain consistent visual standards through style guides and component libraries.
• Deliver detailed design specifications for front‑end implementation.
• Evaluate live interfaces and iterate based on user feedback and usage data.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a UI/UX or web design role, preferably in a product or technical environment.
• Relevant academic background (human factors, psychology or related field) is highly regarded.
• Proven ability to design web interfaces with strong layout, navigation and information‑architecture focus.
• Excellent understanding of visual communication principles such as hierarchy, colour, typography and spacing.
• Experience producing production‑ready design specifications for front‑end development.
