Transport Supervisor

About the role

The Transport Supervisor leads the Transport and Logistics team, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient movement of goods and personnel across the site. This role coordinates day‑shift operations, manages bus rosters, and provides after‑hours support for special events and unexpected staffing changes.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Transport Specialists across all shifts, maintaining service continuity during absences or disruptions.
• Develop and manage bus rosters, including coverage for public holidays and special events such as VIP visits.
• Ensure all transport activities comply with Australian legislation, site EHS requirements and organisational policies.
• Oversee fleet inspections, maintenance, defect reporting and corrective actions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date licences, endorsements and competency records for all transport personnel.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret (TSPV) security clearance.
• Proven experience supervising transport operations and leading people.
• Thorough understanding of Australian transport and logistics regulations, including driver fatigue management.

Required skills

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Forklift Licence and H‑Endorsement.
• HR Licence (and HC Licence preferred).
• First Aid certification (desirable).
