Transport Planner – Perth

About the role

Stantec is looking for a Transport Planner to join its dynamic Perth team. You will work on a variety of transport and traffic projects across Western Australia, applying analytical and problem‑solving skills while engaging with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver transport planning and traffic engineering studies, including impact assessments and modelling.
• Support and manage projects for land development, infrastructure and urban precincts.
• Prepare high‑quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in transport planning within a consulting environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects and build client relationships.

Required skills

• Experience with traffic modelling and analysis tools such as SIDRA.
• Experience with traffic modelling and analysis tools such as VISSIM.
• Experience with traffic modelling and analysis tools such as VISUM.
