Training & Technical Support Specialist – Marine

About the role

The Training & Technical Support Specialist will develop, deliver and maintain technical expertise across Volvo Penta’s full helm‑to‑prop value chain. You will train dealers, OEMs, fleet customers, importers and internal teams while providing advanced technical support when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and evaluate technical training programmes covering engines, drives, EVC, controls and connectivity.
• Conduct classroom, virtual and practical workshop training for dealers, OEMs, key customers and internal staff.
• Assess participants’ competence, give structured feedback and manage training records and certifications.
• Adapt global training material to local needs, organise equipment and materials, and manage training budgets and calendar.

Required profile

• Marine engineering or heavy automotive qualification.
• Proven experience in the marine or heavy automotive industry in a commercial setting.
• Expertise in workshop training, instructional design or adult learning principles.
• Experience with warranty systems and strong customer‑service mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
