Training Specialist – Passenger Services (12‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

dnata is seeking a Training Specialist for Passenger Services on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract at Sydney International Airport. You will join the Learning & Development team to deliver ad‑hoc and hybrid training solutions that meet both business and airline client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, cost‑effective training to colleagues across passenger‑service functions.
• Liaise with specialists and airline clients to ensure training resources are current and appropriate.
• Support the training team with compliance reporting, expiry tracking and recurrence planning.
• Assist with sign‑off processes to guarantee all team members meet company standards.
• Provide feedback, mentoring and support to buddies and subject‑matter experts.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and enter data into VETrak.
• Assist with training document control, review and inter‑port data entry as needed.
• Perform any additional ad‑hoc duties required by the training department.

Required profile

• Experience with VETrak (essential).
• Willingness or current sign‑off on Passenger Services functions such as PAX Assist, Check‑in and Gate Supervision.
• High computer literacy and familiarity with training management systems.
• Strong written and oral communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of the Australian Quality Training Framework and VET/RTO quality standards.
