Training Manager – Indigenous Hospitality & Tourism

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the delivery of Certificate III in Hospitality (SIT30622) and Certificate III in Tourism (SIT30125) for the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA) at Ayers Rock Resort. Based onsite at Uluru, you will live and work in the heart of Australia’s Red Centre, supporting Indigenous trainees and the NITA training team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess training programs for hospitality and tourism qualifications.
• Manage, mentor and support the NITA Training Team.
• Maintain compliance with RTO standards and ensure high‑quality assessment outcomes.
• Collaborate with Indigenous community partners and resort staff to create culturally relevant learning experiences.

Required profile

• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher).
• Certificate III or higher in Hospitality and/or Tourism.
• Minimum 3 years recent experience in the hospitality or tourism industry.
• At least 5 years experience in teaching and managing training programs.
• Proven leadership in a complex, multicultural environment.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with student management systems.
