Training and Development Manager

About the role

The Training and Development Manager will strengthen the compliance culture within the Private Bank by providing practical coaching, guidance and learning support to financial planners. You will help staff understand and apply regulatory standards while identifying opportunities to improve compliance knowledge and capability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver coaching and guidance to financial planners on compliance requirements.
• Design and facilitate learning sessions that translate complex regulations into clear, actionable practices.
• Identify gaps in compliance knowledge and propose improvement initiatives.
• Support teams through change, ensuring confidence in navigating compliance responsibilities.
• Manage multiple priorities with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering coaching and guidance on financial planning compliance.
• Strong knowledge of the financial planning regulatory environment.
• Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex information.
• Confidence presenting and supporting teams in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities.
