Trainer & Assessor – Traffic Management Training

About the role

AusQ Training is seeking experienced traffic management professionals to transition from the road to the classroom. As a Trainer & Assessor you will deliver both accredited and non‑accredited training programmes across Western Australia, helping learners develop the skills needed for safer worksites.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver accredited and non‑accredited traffic management training at North Lake, Bunbury and other client sites.
• Create engaging, supportive learning environments that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Assess learners fairly and accurately, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Represent AusQ Training professionally and maintain strong relationships with customers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in traffic management or civil construction.
• Current Main Roads WA BWTM & TC accreditation (or higher).
• Reliable, committed and punctual – a strong attendance record is essential.
• Either already hold a Trainer & Assessor qualification (TAE40116/TAE40122) or are willing to obtain the Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Required skills

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willingness to complete).
• Qualified Trainer & Assessor (TAE40116/TAE40122) – or readiness to upskill.
