Trainee Information Technology (IT) Support Officer

About the role

This two‑year traineeship offers a paid entry‑level position in the Council’s Information Technology team. You will work full‑time while studying for a nationally accredited Certificate IV in Information Technology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with help‑desk requests and provide first‑line support to end users.
• Maintain and support the Council’s IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, network, security and communications environments.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to resolve technical issues and implement improvements.
