Trainee Educator - Part-Time

About the role

Busy Bees, a global early learning provider with over 130 centres across Australia, is seeking a motivated Trainee Educator for its Ashdale centre on a part-time basis (minimum 15 hours). It is an opportunity to earn while learning, gaining hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Key responsibilities

• Support educators in delivering engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assist in creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for children
• Build positive relationships with children, families and team members
• Support daily routines, transitions and supervision of children
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

Required profile

• Genuine commitment to child safety and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Enrolled in or willing to enrol in a Certificate III or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Able to obtain a valid Working with Children Check for WA
• Basic communication skills, willingness to learn, positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
• Previous experience with children (e.g. babysitting, volunteering) is advantageous but not essential
