About the role
Service Stream is recruiting Trainee Telecommunications Technicians to work in the field, helping customers connect to the internet. The traineeship is supported by experienced technicians who guide you through hands-on learning so you can become a Customer Field Technician. No previous telecommunications experience is required.
Key responsibilities
- Install and maintain telecommunications services
- Connect homes and businesses to essential communication services
- Diagnose and resolve network faults
- Work safely with industry-leading tools and technology
- Deliver excellent customer service
Required profile
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Problem-solving skills
- A commitment to safety and quality
- A valid driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one
- No experience necessary; full training is provided
