Traffic Engineer - Brisbane

About the role

A well-established, employee-owned engineering consultancy with offices across Queensland is growing its Brisbane traffic team. It works on civil, water, environmental and traffic projects for infrastructure, council and private development across South East and regional Queensland. The role suits an engineer with 3-5 years' experience who wants more say in how projects run.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare traffic impact assessments and other traffic and transport reports
• Run intersection analysis in SIDRA Intersection
• Carry out swept path assessments in AutoCAD
• Write fee proposals and deal directly with clients
• Help plan, manage and deliver projects with the internal team and external stakeholders
• Get involved in business development if interested; it is welcomed but not expected on day one

Required profile

• 3-5 years' professional experience in traffic engineering in Australia
• Experience writing traffic impact assessments and technical reports
• Confidence working with clients, councils and project teams
• Drive to take on more responsibility

• AutoCAD (swept paths)
