Trade Counter Assistant (Actrol) - Alexandria

About the role

Actrol, part of the Reece group, is Australia's leading supplier of plumbing and bathroom products and the home of refrigeration. As part of its Trade Counter team in Alexandria, you will help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain essential services, while also carrying out other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and give customers information about products
• Provide quotes in person and by phone
• Carry out pick-and-pack and stock control activities
• Help keep the branch tidy and safe
• Make occasional deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

Required profile

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, enjoying helping customers in person and by phone
• Ability to pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information given is accurate
• Clean valid driver's licence and willingness to work various shifts, including weekends
• Interest in developing a career locally, within the network or at head office

• Computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
