Trade Cook (Part-Time, Ongoing)

About the role

South West Healthcare in Warrnambool is offering part-time, ongoing positions for a Trade Cook (Cook Grade 3) at its Warrnambool campus. The cook prepares and serves safe, nutritious and enjoyable meals and refreshments tailored to the dietary, clinical and personal needs of residents, patients and consumers, while supporting food safety legislation, infection control standards, organisational procedures and person-centred care.

The role requires availability on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The advertised salary is $71,119.36 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation.

Required profile

• Current trade qualification in cooking with a minimum of four years of post-training experience.
• Background or experience in large-scale catering, with the ability to produce only first-class product.
• Solid time management and interpersonal skills to work as part of a productive team.
