About the role

Join the team at Wilpena Resort, part of the G’day Group, and lead unforgettable tours through the iconic Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges. You will engage guests with the natural, cultural and historical stories of this ancient landscape while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead guided tours and guest experiences around Wilpena Pound.
• Share engaging stories about the landscape, history, culture and environment.
• Interact confidently with individuals and groups of varying sizes.
• Maintain guest safety and comfort throughout tours.
• Assist with tour preparation, equipment handling and basic administrative tasks.
• Represent Wilpena Resort in a professional and welcoming manner.

Required profile

• Confident communicator with guests and groups.
• Genuine interest in the Flinders Ranges, its culture and storytelling.
• Friendly, reliable and comfortable working outdoors.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Current driver’s licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Previous guiding, tourism or hospitality experience is an advantage.
