Ticketing Operations Trainer

About the role

The Trainer – Ticketing Operations will design and deliver training programmes that boost staff proficiency with the Ticketek ticketing system and related operational tools. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing Operations, you will travel interstate to provide in‑person sessions and on‑site support, ensuring consistent knowledge across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead engaging in‑person and virtual training for client service teams and platform users.
• Maintain a central library of system documentation and "how‑to" guides.
• Provide post‑training support to embed knowledge and resolve follow‑up queries.
• Coordinate training for new product releases and feature updates.
• Conduct capability gap analyses and develop targeted interventions.
• Coach team leaders on best‑practice workflows.
• Analyse performance data and feedback to recommend operational improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience building events within a ticketing system environment.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate training sessions both in‑person and online.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, able to convey complex processes clearly.
• Willingness to travel regularly to interstate offices.
