Test Engineer – Electrical Power Systems

About the role

Helios Power Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to own and drive quality across its electrical power product lines. Reporting to the Engineering & Production Manager, you will design test protocols, lead root‑cause investigations and ensure that every product meets the highest reliability and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute functional, electrical and environmental test plans for power electronics assemblies.
• Record, analyse and report test data to support product validation and compliance.
• Perform incoming, in‑process and final inspections, maintaining traceability and inspection records.
• Lead end‑to‑end quality processes, from incoming inspection through final release.
• Drive CAPA activities, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve product quality and testability.
• Manage repair and rework of non‑conforming products, including diagnostics and retesting.
• Ensure safe handling of live electrical equipment (≥230 V AC) and maintain test equipment calibration.
• Support internal and external audits and uphold ISO 9001 quality standards.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of hands‑on testing and quality‑control experience with electronic power systems.

Required skills

• Electrical, functional and environmental testing of power electronics.
• Root‑cause analysis and CAPA implementation.
• ISO 9001 quality‑system knowledge.
• Calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
• Safe handling of live voltage (≥230 V AC) and use of appropriate PPE.
