Territory Sales Manager – Waratah Fencing (Armidale, NSW)

About the role

Waratah Fencing, a brand of InfraBuild that has supported rural Australia since 1884, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join its Waratah Fencing team. The role covers a large, autonomous rural territory in North-East New South Wales, reporting to the Regional Sales Manager. It suits someone who wants to spend most of their time on the road, becoming the local face of the Waratah brand.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established territory in North-East NSW, delivering sales, margin and market share growth
• Build relationships with rural distributors, farmers, fencing contractors and other industry influencers
• Identify and convert new business opportunities in agricultural markets
• Develop territory plans, sales forecasts and customer growth strategies
• Provide product demonstrations, training and technical support to customers and end users
• Monitor seasonal, market and competitor activity and turn insights into growth opportunities
• Partner with internal stakeholders on account management and credit collection

Required profile

• A genuine passion for agriculture and rural communities, gained through study, work experience or personal background
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience in sales, account management, business development or customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Self-motivated, organised and able to work independently across a large territory
• Current and valid driver's licence and willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays
• Candidates based in North-East NSW, ideally near Tamworth or Armidale, are welcome
