Territory Sales Manager – Irrigation Technology

About the role

A growing agricultural technology business, recruiting through Lucas Group, provides practical technology solutions for irrigation management and water use across Australian agriculture. It is looking for a Territory Manager based in Mildura to develop new business across the southern Murray-Darling Basin and build strong relationships with growers and existing customers. The role is permanent and requires full rights to work in Australia; sponsorship is not available.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a territory sales plan and build and manage a qualified sales pipeline
• Meet with growers, farm managers, agronomists and agribusinesses, and grow the existing customer base and new business
• Build relationships with industry partners and referral networks, and represent the business at field days, conferences and industry events
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales activity
• Work closely with technical, marketing and customer success teams, and lead and support team members within the territory

Required profile

• Experience in sales, business development, territory management or account management, with a strong understanding of irrigated agriculture or horticulture
• Experience developing new business and managing a sales pipeline
• Experience with agricultural technology, software or technical products
• Experience managing or supervising staff
• Willingness to travel regularly and a current Australian driver's licence
• Existing Murray-Darling Basin industry relationships are highly regarded

• Base salary of $140k-$160k plus superannuation, depending on experience
