Terminal Operator

About the role

ATOM is seeking a dedicated Terminal Operator to help manage and control the safe, efficient operation of our bulk fuel terminals and rail loading facilities across Australia. You will work on a rotating roster, supporting both road and rail activities while upholding the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day terminal operations, including loading rail tank cars and coordinating road deliveries.
• Monitor and enforce HSSE policies, terminal operating rules, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement control measures to maintain site integrity.
• Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure safe and reliable terminal performance.
• Work a roster of 8 days on, 6 days off, including alternate weekends.

Required profile

• Strong team‑player with a proactive, go‑get‑it attitude.
• Excellent time‑management and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Previous experience in high‑risk environments is a plus.
• Permanent full work rights for Australia are mandatory.
