About the role

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑quality telehealth consultations for a diverse patient base.
• Perform clinical assessments, prescribe S4 & S8 medications, and arrange follow‑up consults.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and doctor support teams to streamline patient care.
• Maintain complete, compliant documentation in a digital‑first environment.
• Utilise digital tools and telehealth platforms to optimise outcomes and service efficiency.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent with unrestricted AHPRA registration (minimum PGY4).
• Proven ability to manage 10‑minute consults (4‑6 patients per hour) in a fast‑paced, digital setting.
• Familiarity with privacy laws, RTPM, S8 regulations and medico‑legal obligations.
• Strong clinical judgement, evidence‑based and harm‑reduction mindset.
• Excellent documentation and administrative skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and responsive with a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Telehealth software navigation.
• Electronic prescribing (S4 & S8) systems.
• Digital platform proficiency.
