Technology Support Officer

About the role

The Technology Support Officer provides professional advice and support on ICT devices and infrastructure used in patient care, managing endpoint solutions and ensuring reliable IT services within an ITIL environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second‑level ICT support for hardware, software, systems and network infrastructure supporting patient care.
• Manage service‑desk tickets, resolve incidents, and participate in change and problem management activities.
• Administer endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune, Endpoint Manager, Windows Autopilot and IGEL OS.
• Provide after‑hours on‑call support as part of a rotational roster.
• Collaborate with Digital Technology Services teams and manage vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Experience working in an ITIL‑based service environment.
• Strong customer‑service focus with ability to achieve high first‑contact resolution.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including after‑hours coverage.

Required skills

• Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows Autopilot, Endpoint Manager, Teams, OneDrive.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking, email systems.
• Windows 10/11 installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
• iOS and Android device support.
• IGEL OS and thin‑client configuration.
• Audio/Video/Communication (PABX) technologies.
