Technical Team Lead

About the role

The Technical Team Lead will drive the sustainment and availability of critical enterprise platforms for the AGO GEO SPACES project, working in a high‑compliance, national‑security environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a high‑performing systems administration team responsible for enterprise platform availability.
• Coordinate major incident response, optimise service delivery and ensure critical customer outcomes.
• Influence technical strategy, governance and service performance with engineering and customer stakeholders.
• Provide leadership coverage for the Maintenance Lead and mentor technical professionals across the maintenance function.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in technical team leadership within a complex enterprise environment.
• Proven track record in ITIL‑aligned incident coordination and service delivery management.
• Strong communication skills to translate engineering challenges into clear management summaries.
• Australian citizenship with TSPV security clearance and eligibility for DISA/OSA.

Required skills

• Linux enterprise deployments (RHEL).
• Windows Server environments.
• ITIL framework knowledge.
