Technical Support Officer – School IT

About the role

Bullsbrook College is seeking a friendly Technical Support Officer to join its Student Services Team. This permanent full‑time position will provide day‑to‑day IT support for staff and students in a special‑needs school environment. The role focuses on maintaining and improving the school’s technology infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot school IT hardware, software and network equipment.
• Install, configure and upgrade software applications across classrooms and offices.
• Provide timely technical assistance and training to staff and students.
• Develop and document solutions to recurring technical issues.
• Collaborate with the wider Student Services Team to support the school’s Positive Behaviour Support program.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, approachable attitude with a commitment to high‑quality support.
• Eligibility to work in Australia and obtain required Working With Children and criminal history checks.
