Technical Solutions Engineer – Campus & WiFi

About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a Campus & WiFi-focused Technical Solutions Engineer to join its Customer Engineering team in Sydney. You will be the primary technical contact for enterprise customers deploying Arista campus switching and wireless LAN solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for Arista EOS‑based campus switches (CCS‑710/720/750) and WiFi 5/6/6E/7 access points.
• Troubleshoot complex Layer 2/3 campus network issues, including VLANs, STP/RSTP/MST, LACP, LLDP, QoS, and multicast.
• Support customers with CV‑CUE and Arista WiFi deployments, covering RF planning, channel management, roaming, and client connectivity.
• Diagnose wireless problems such as RF interference, 802.11 authentication failures, WPA3/802.1X/RADIUS issues, and throughput degradation.
• Conduct live troubleshooting sessions, packet captures, log analysis, and reproduce issues in a dedicated lab.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise campus networks.
• Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, RF fundamentals, and WLAN architectures.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN/EVPN, and modern fabric technologies.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
