About the role
The Technical Assurance Lead provides independent technical assurance for Defence systems within the GEOINT Platform Protected and Secret Directorate, ensuring solutions are secure, compliant and aligned with enterprise architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Assess technical solutions, designs and vendor deliverables for compliance with standards, policies and security requirements.
- Prepare technical scope for Integrated Project Teams and verify readiness of solutions for implementation and operational support.
- Identify, manage and report technical risks, issues and dependencies, and support governance through assurance reporting.
Required profile
- Security clearance at NV2 level.
- Experience preparing technical scopes and delivering independent technical assurance in a Defence or similar high‑security environment.
Required skills
- PMP certification.
- Technical assurance and risk management.
- Knowledge of compliance, architecture and security standards.
