Technical Advisory Manager

About the role

Avanade’s Advisory & Experiences practice is expanding to meet the demand for technology‑led advisory that bridges strategy and delivery. As a Technical Advisory Manager you will help clients translate ambition into practical technology roadmaps, focusing on operating models, AI transformation, and data and application modernisation within the Microsoft ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support advisory engagements, assessing applications, data, platforms and operating models to create pragmatic transformation roadmaps.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable initiatives, develop business cases, investment proposals and phased delivery plans.
• Engage senior client stakeholders (CIO, CTO, CDO, business leaders) and provide structured insights, options and recommendations.
• Collaborate with delivery and solution teams, as well as Microsoft account teams, to connect client needs to Avanade’s portfolio.
• Mentor and manage consultants and senior consultants, contributing to internal capability building and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 7+ years of IT experience in enterprise applications, modernisation or integration.
• 3+ years of hands‑on cloud implementation experience across at least two platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Proven experience in professional services helping clients with complex, multi‑layer cloud strategies and transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and storytelling abilities, with a track record of delivering advisory outcomes that lead to tangible impact.
• Emerging people‑leadership experience, including mentoring or managing junior team members.
