Team Manager

About the role

Join Woolworths Group as a Team Manager within our Proactive Services team. You will lead a group responsible for trolley collection, store cleaning and waste support across multiple store locations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team that handles cleaning, trolley collection and waste management.
• Create and manage rosters to cover all daily operational tasks.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership to identify challenges, opportunities and priorities.
• Oversee time‑and‑attendance activities, track hours, manage absences and ensure policy compliance.
• Order and manage consumables such as cleaning supplies within budget constraints.
• Perform hands‑on operational tasks alongside the team to maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.

Required profile

• Ambitious mindset with a passion for retail and people development.
• Flexibility to work across early mornings, days, late nights and weekends.
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks on shop floors, fridges, freezers and car parks.
• Ability to organise equipment and supplies for safe and efficient team performance.
• Comfort working within regulated frameworks such as Food Safety and industrial regulations.

Required skills

• Valid full Australian driver’s licence (required for trolley collection vehicles).
