Team Leader - Occupational Rehabilitation

About the role

Altius is looking for a Team Leader to join its Rehabilitation Services division on a maternity leave contract. You will lead and inspire your team to deliver services that help workers achieve a safe, timely and durable return to work. The position is based in Subiaco and offers a hybrid workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Engage regularly with your team to think strategically, ensure service agreements are met and support the team in reaching its goals and objectives.
• Stay ahead of industry trends through structured professional development and share your knowledge to influence best practice in workplace rehabilitation.
• Develop personalised rehabilitation plans that support a whole-of-person approach.
• Complete assessments such as Initial Needs Assessment, Functional Capacity Evaluation, Workplace Assessment and Vocational Assessment.
• Identify return-to-work pathways in line with likely recovery milestones using lateral thinking and forward planning.
• Work with clients, their families, insurers, employers and other healthcare professionals to evaluate physical, psychological and social factors.
• Present case information to stakeholders and give credible recommendations and solutions.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling, with appropriate registration.
• Prior experience in occupational rehabilitation.
• Prior experience leading and managing a team.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Current driver's licence and car.
