About the role

Ocean Road Primary School is building a pool of qualified K‑6 teachers for permanent, fixed‑term, full‑time and part‑time vacancies that may arise during the 2026 school year. Selected candidates will join a supportive, inclusive community focused on high‑impact teaching and student wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for assigned year levels (Year 1, Year 5, Year 6, or Physical Education).
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with teaching teams to identify student strengths and needs, and implement targeted interventions.
• Contribute to whole‑school initiatives, reflective practice, and continuous improvement processes.

• Reflective, lifelong learner with a passion for student success.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and a strengths‑based approach to teaching.
