Tax Statement Specialist

About the role

The Technical Compliance Team at HUB24 is looking for a Tax Statement Specialist to support the end‑of‑financial‑year (EOFY) tax statement process. You will collate, analyse and process tax statement data, ensuring accuracy while providing high‑quality support to clients and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with fund managers and investment providers to obtain EOFY tax statement information.
• Analyse and validate tax statement data for accuracy and completeness.
• Convert tax statement information into tax ratios for use within the Class platform.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather information, respond to queries and provide updates.
• Conduct quality checks and resolve discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with compliance and internal control requirements.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress and delivery against targets.
• Contribute to process‑improvement initiatives and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Participate in team stand‑ups, training sessions and knowledge‑sharing forums.
• Utilise Jira, Confluence, SharePoint and Zendesk for documentation and knowledge management.
• Assist with ad‑hoc projects, analysis and troubleshooting as required.

Required profile

• Degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, Business, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of Australian taxation law and practices.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative approach.
