About the role

We are seeking an experienced tax manager to oversee a portfolio of high‑net‑worth individuals, family groups and SMSF clients. You will work closely with a Director to deliver accurate year‑end financials and tax returns while building trusted advisory relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver high‑quality tax compliance, advisory and strategic support across personal tax and SMSF matters.
  • Review work prepared by others, provide guidance and coaching, and support junior team development.
  • Identify opportunities to add value, improve client outcomes and contribute to broader advisory discussions.

Required profile

  • CA/CPA qualification with experience in public practice accounting.
  • Strong personal tax experience and knowledge of trusts, investment entities and Div7A.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate complex matters clearly.

Required skills

  • Personal tax compliance and advisory.
  • Trusts and investment entity structures.
  • Div7A regulations.
  • SMSF knowledge or strong interest in developing expertise.
